TEAM SECRETARY– (REF: 2018-19/023)

Requirements:
? Grade 12
? Secretarial Diploma or equivalent
? Excellent typing skills (successfully shortlisted applicants will be subjected to practical typing tests)
? Advanced Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
? Three (3) years previous secretarial / administrative experience
? Experience in Local Government will be an added advantage
? Good interpersonal relations
? Excellent planning and organizing skills

Key Performance Areas:
? Keeping an up to date manual and electronic diary for planning and arranging appointments and daily tasks.
? Handle all incoming and outgoing telephone calls.
? Responsible for travel and accommodation arrangements for the Deputy Directors.
? Responsible for all logistical arrangements pertaining to meetings.
? Arranging of functions as per instruction.
? Typing of Council items and reports for the relevant divisions.
? Typing of all incoming and outgoing correspondence for the relevant divisions.
? Distribution of correspondence to the various departments and relevant teams.
? Making use of the correspondence register of the central registry office to ensure the effective distribution of correspondence in the relevant department.
? Minute taking and typing of minutes of internal meetings.
? Typing of statistical and reconciliation reports.
? Delivering an effective secretarial service to the relevant divisions.
? Document control and filling (effective data management).
?
ANNUAL BASIC SALARY: R188 904.00 per annum (post level 9 ) plus normal company benefits & NPA
