CLERK: EXPENDITURE (1 Position)

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant Diploma in Financial Management / Accounting or equivalent
  • Two (2) year experience in a Municipal finance environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Sound interpersonal and communications skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of  MSCOA complaint Finance Management Systems will be an added advantage

Key Performance Areas:

  • Processing of invoices
  • Processing of travelling claims
  • Preparing journals
  • Printing of cheques
  • Following up on outsatnding invoices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

ANNUAL BASIC SALARY: R176 544.00 per annum (level 9) plus normal company benefits
