ASSISTANT MANAGER : TENDER AND CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
? Grade 12
? Three (3) year National Diploma in Supply Chain Management and/or relevant
? Relevant B.Com Degree will be an added advantage
? Five (5) years relevant experience in Contract Management and Supply Chain Management within the Municipal environment
? National Treasury Minimum Competency Requirements
? Computer literacy
? Valid Code EB driver’s license
? Demonstrated experience in a contract management (or equivalent) role in a procurement environment and a good working knowledge of contract management processes and techniques
? High level of interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders in providing expert contract management advice to enable achievement of desired outcomes
? Ability to work with minimum supervision
Key Performance Areas:
? Manage municipal contracts for goods and services to ensure the delivery of outcomes in line with contract management objectives.
? Monitor contract performance and compliance in accordance with the contract stipulations, contract management plan, risk management plan, and organizational policies and procedures.
? Effectively manage contract enquiries, issues, disputes, variations and risks.
? Ensure customer satisfaction is a high priority and stakeholders receive responsive and proactive services where department’s representatives are engaged and feedback is sought.
? Research and analyze contract related information including supplier contract reporting and provide reports regarding contract activity and performance.
? Manage allocated contract implementation, including management of user department’s activities.
? Draft and maintain a comprehensive Municipal Contract Register as prescribed.
? Provide advice and support to the user departments.
? Identify opportunities to improve procurement outcomes, efficiently, effectively and economically.
? Provide leadership, advice and support to staff within the team.
ANNUAL BASIC SALARY: R384 780.00 per annum (level 4) plus normal company benefits, travelling allowance and 25% non-pensionable allowance
